350’s Rallying Cry Heard Around the World . . .
Hopefully everyone has been following the amazing coverage that 350.org’s Saturday International Climate Action Day garnered – the photos posted on their website serve as an invigorating yet sobering call-to-action. It’s wonderful to see so much passion, from Canada to Mongolia to Afghanistan, from the bottom of the sea to mountain peaks and everywhere in between, from citizens of our planet who recognize the need for our world leaders to start making change now, but it’s also a reminder that our global climate situation is dire enough to warrant the most ambitious environmental action campaign ever.
For 2041’s part, Robert Swan took part in the Brooklyn Bridge walk and then the rally/presentation in Times Square – see Huffington Post coverage here.
